About The Role

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum
Location: Essex-wide with hybrid working 
Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00
Contract: Permanent 
 

It’s an exciting time to join ECL and lead our expanding Inclusive Employment team across Essex. We are a growing team with a strong track record of achieving good employment outcomes for people who face additional barriers within the labour market. We will be expanding the team in readiness to deliver DWP’s Connect to Work programme, and you will play an integral role in the success of this new Government programme delivery in Essex.

We are seeking an inspiring leader who has the skills to build on a motivated, driven team to ensure that they continue to grow and achieve results for people who access the service.  The Business Manager will be responsible for the strategic direction of the team, ensuring that it is in line with best practice nationally and the contracts we are commissioned to deliver. You will be experienced in producing reports, analysing data and recognising trends. Promoting the service to a wide variety of audiences and a great advocate for supported employment.

About You

To be considered as Inclusive Employment Business Manager, you need to:
 
  • Hold a level 5 or above in Business Management or equivalent
  • Be an experienced and confident networker, with a natural ability to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have experience of delivering outcome focused programmes, ideally in the employment/welfare to work area.
  • Be an experienced leader who works alongside a team to support a healthy culture and individual development.
  • Have a track record in delivering high quality services in a performance driven environment.
  • Have experience of working professionally or in a personal capacity with disabled people is desirable.
