Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for systems, data, and continuous improvement? We're looking for an enthusiastic IT Business Systems Administrator to play a vital role in supporting and enhancing ECL's people and business systems, helping our colleagues deliver outstanding services every day.

Reporting into the IT function, you will be instrumental in the successful implementation, maintenance, security, and ongoing development of our digital systems. From system set-up and configuration to testing, reporting, user access management, and issue resolution, you'll ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, Business Insight, and operational teams, as well as external suppliers, you will help drive system improvements, streamline processes, and enhance the user experience. You'll provide expert day-to-day support, troubleshoot technical issues, identify opportunities for automation and innovation, and contribute to projects that maximise the value of ECL's digital investments.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with excellent stakeholder engagement. You'll bring a natural curiosity for how systems work, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems, while building positive relationships across the organisation to deliver meaningful business improvements.

About You

To be considered as IT Business Systems Administrator, you need:
  • Solid experience of providing administrative, technical, reporting, or systems support within an IT, business systems, HR systems, payroll, or corporate systems environment.
  • Experience of supporting the implementation, maintenance, administration, reporting, or improvement of business systems, HR systems, payroll systems, or other enterprise applications.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate system issues, identify root causes, and help implement practical solutions.
  • Understanding of change control and service desk processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain system processes clearly to different audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, SQL, APIs/integrations, SFTP, reporting tools or workflow systems.
  • Experience of systems testing, data migration, user acceptance testing, system configuration, integrations, access management, or report development.
  • Knowledge of IT service management principles, information governance, cyber security awareness, business systems administration, or HR/payroll systems would be desirable.

What we can offer you as IT Business Systems Administrator:
  • 55p paid per mile tax-free
  • Up to 32 days annual leave a year (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Fully paid induction and training with ongoing support
  • Career development opportunities with access to paid for qualifications
  • Annual salary reviews
  • Annual performance-related bonus
  • Company pension - Enhanced contributory NEST scheme - we contribute up to 6%
  • Healthcare support scheme via Healthshield paid for by ECL
  • Employee Loyalty Scheme with long service awards
  • Employee referral program - £350 for referring a friend
  • Employee Assistance Programme available 24/7
  • Access to Blue Light Card
  • Mental health first aiders in every service
  • Reimbursement of professional membership related to your role
