About The Role

As an Autism Employment Team Manager, you’ll be key in ensuring individuals with a primary diagnosis of autism receive consistent and high-quality support to find and sustain employment, volunteering, or community outcomes.

You will oversee and work closely with a team of Autism Employment Consultants; directing and motivating them to exceed our contractual targets for individuals entering and remaining in employment.

You will ensure the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) is consistently implemented across all service delivery whilst ensuring we provide a specialist, tailored service for individuals with autism, working closely with internal teams and external partners to promote inclusive employment practices.

About You

To succeed as an Autism Employment Team Manager, you need:
 
  • To hold the Supported Employment Level 3 certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in-line with the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF)
  • Strong management skills and experience
  • To be confident in networking; building and maintaining relationships
  • The ability to work and succeed in a target driven environment
  • Exceptional and adaptable communication skills
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and problem solve
  • A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to work
  • A full and valid driving licence with own vehicle to travel across Essex 
 
This role covers the whole of Essex and will require travel county-wide.
