To be considered as a Learning and Development Advisor, you need:
- A passion for learning and development, and supporting people to be confident and capable in their roles.
- Experience of delivering effective and engaging face to face and online learning interventions to groups of people.
- Experience of co-ordinating learning and workforce development initiatives in the public, private or voluntary sector.
- Experience of all aspects of the learning cycle including assessing needs, setting learning objectives, organising, delivering and evaluating learning initiatives.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor content to different learning styles and audiences.
- Skilled in using IT systems and packages to facilitate development.
- Ability to create face to face and online seminars in partnership with subject matter experts where necessary
- Strong engagement and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain key internal and external relationships
- Strong alignment to our ECL values: Caring, Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity.
Current Train the Trainer qualifications for Moving and Handling (IOSH accredited), Emergency First Aid at work or other relevant accreditations for the health and social care sector or in leadership development would be advantageous to your application.

What can I expect from the recruitment process?
There will be a two stage interview for this role. Those who are successfully shortlisted will first deliver a 30 minute learning session to some of the Learning and Development team, with an additional 10 minutes for questions from you and the team.
Those who are successful at stage 1, will then move to a second, more Q&A based conversation to look at your experience and skillset, and also allow you to explore if ECL is the right place for you. This will last around 45 minutes.
